Enjoy a special visit to New Haven, CT led by KMA Executive Director Michael Gitlitz. The trip will begin with a special introduction to the Yale University Art Gallery by Director Stephanie Wiles, followed by a private docent led tour of their innovative temporary exhibitions, such as Place, Nations, Generations, Beings: 200 Years of Indigenous North American Art. Afterwards, a break for lunch at the Union League Café with a curated menu selection. The day will end with a visit to NXTHVN, a collaborative studio art space and arts incubator, founded by Titus Kaphar, Jason Price, and Jonathan Brand. The visit will include conversations with working artists in their studios and Executive Director Nico Wheadon.
