A virtual look at Bisa Butler's first solo museum exhibition and the photographs which inspired the works
From documentary black and white photographs taken during the Great Depression to family snapshots, Bisa Butler draws inspiration from photographic images to create her colorful, multi-layered quilts. Join KMA Assistant Curator of Exhibitions and Programs Emily Handlin for a virtual tour that explores the history behind the photographs and their relationship to Butler's work.
