Come share your love for visual art and literature at the KMA’s reading group. Our coffee klatsch begins with a curator-led tour of Wall to Wall: Carpets by Artists and continues with a lively, no-holds barred discussion led by Swedish tapestry artist Helena Hernmarck. Selected by Hernmarck, The Invention of Truth, by Marta Morazzoni, follows the three hundred women who worked together to embroider the monumental 11th-century masterpiece, the Bayeux Tapestry. Join in on this merging of cultural disciplines, breaking down boundaries between art and everyday life. Light refreshments will be served.
