Support the KMA Today!

With 2026 upon us, we look back on this past year at the Katonah Museum of Art as one filled with joy and inspiration amidst unprecedented challenges and uncertainty. Despite the loss of critical government funding, the KMA is proud to have realized six major exhibitions, four interactive installations in The Pollack Family Learning Center and world-class performances, all while welcoming over 25,000 visitors and hundreds of schools and community groups day in and day out. New partnerships with Art Bridges Foundation, Friends of John Jay Homestead, Inclusive Initiative, Leir Foundation, Phaidon, The Pocantico Center of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Serica Initiative and Yale University Press, among others, enable the Museum to engage national and global audiences and bring pride of place to the Museum and the surrounding communities of Katonah, Bedford and Westchester County.

We are living in unprecedented times. Our local, national and global communities are becoming ever more divided and the availability of essential social services is no longer guaranteed. The arts are essential to our health as individuals and society at large. It is at times like these that museums like the KMA become ever more relevant by championing art and ideas that feed the soul and remind us of our common humanity. A recent study by Kings College, London verified that engagement with original artworks “not only moves people emotionally, but also calms the body and promotes health and wellbeing…play[ing] a role in protecting both mind and body.” Our renowned exhibitions, education programs and community outreach initiatives provide inspiration, opportunities for connection and a meaningful platform for accessible engagement to visitors of all ages and backgrounds.

The upcoming year is expected to bring further challenges to the KMA. It is through the stewardship of donors like you that the KMA is able to effect real change in the world through our work. Your support is critical to our success and we are relying on your partnership to continue supporting our mission in the year ahead. Your gift ensures that our exhibitions remain compelling, our education and community programming continue to be accessible and engaging, the doors remain open, and that our 30-year-old building is sufficiently staffed and at the forefront of 21st century safety standards. Please help us ensure a vibrant future for the KMA and the communities we serve. Every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated.

A gift today will keep the arts across Westchester and our region alive and thriving for the future.

Please help us Build a Brighter Future Together!
